Game progress and settings, kept under a random player id from your first visit. Your email address, if you choose to save your game with one. Information collected automatically when you use Westering, such as device, log and usage information, through cookies and similar technologies.

To provide, maintain, improve and secure Westering; to keep your game and let you continue it on another device; to communicate with you; to understand how Westering is used; to enforce our terms; to comply with the law; and for other purposes we describe when we collect it or with your consent. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving Westering, your consent, or a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run Westering, such as hosting, data storage, email delivery and technical support providers. Others, when we believe the law requires it, to protect rights, property or safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, financing or sale. Others, with your consent or at your direction.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies, including those Westering needs to work, such as the one that keeps your game. Westering does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires or permits.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, or to object to or limit how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, write to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond as the law requires.

Where we process it

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed there and wherever our service providers operate.

Children

Westering is not meant for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
